Simple Installation

How to Install Your Showerhead

This refined, step-by-step guide will walk you through installing your new filtered NOVO showerhead. Follow these simple instructions to enjoy cleaner, softer water and an elevated shower experience. Before you begin, ensure you have all included components ready: plumber’s tape, hose, and connector.

Installation Steps

1. Turn Off the Water Supply

Make sure the water supply to your shower is fully turned off. This prevents accidental water flow during installation.

2. Remove Your Old Showerhead

Carefully unscrew the existing showerhead.

Use your hands or, if needed, an adjustable wrench for tight fittings.

Have a towel ready—some residual water may spill out.

3. Clean the Shower Arm

Wipe the threaded end of the shower arm to remove any old plumber’s tape, debris, or mineral buildup. A clean surface ensures a secure, leak-free installation.

4. Apply Plumber’s Tape

Wrap the included plumber’s tape tightly around the threads of the shower arm. This creates a watertight seal and helps prevent leaks.

5. Attach the Connector

Screw the connector onto the taped shower arm.
Hand-tighten until snug—avoid overtightening to protect the threads.

6. Connect the Hose

Attach one end of the hose to the connector.
Tighten by hand until secure but not overly tight.

7. Attach the Showerhead

Connect the opposite end of the hose to your new NOVO showerhead.
Hand-tighten until firmly in place.

8. Turn On the Water Supply

Slowly restore water flow.
Check all connection points—the showerhead, hose, and connector—for any leaks.
If you spot moisture, gently tighten the affected area.

9. Adjust the Showerhead

Position the showerhead at your ideal angle for the perfect shower experience.

10. Test the Showerhead

Turn on the shower to ensure smooth water flow.
Make final adjustments or tighten connections as needed.

Tips for a Smooth Installation

Keep a towel or small container nearby to catch leftover water from the old showerhead.

Hand-tightening is recommended to protect your components.

If minor leaks persist, add an additional layer of plumber’s tape and reconnect.
